Dr. Oluwatobi Oyefeso

Currently, Oluwatobi Oyefeso is the Group Executive Vice Chairman, Covetable Group Limited registered in Nigeria with Subsidiaries: Morewits Financial Market Institute, Morewits Consulting Limited, Morewits Techprints Limited, Prophealth Edibles Limited, Prophealth Farms Limited, Covetable Properties Limited and Covetable Construction Limited. Also, he doubles as the Chief Executive Officer, Morewits Consulting UK Limited.
Previously, Oluwatobi was a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the Muscat Business School, Muscat University in the Sultanate of Oman. Also, in the United Kingdom, he had about two decades of experience as University Senior Faculty, Investment Management Executive and coveted Management and Economic Policy Consultant. Generally, he has track record of dexterous consulting and corporate training in Financial Markets, Macroeconomic Policy, Project Management, Corporate Policy and Strategic Management, Performance Management, Corporate Governance, and Management Soft Skills Development.
Notably, for over five years Oluwatobi was the pioneer Managing Director, Nigerian Capital Market Institute (NCMI) – a Subsidiary of the Nigeria’s Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), the Statutory Regulator of the Capital Markets in Nigeria. He was responsible for the NCMI’s corporate strategy, policy, training programme and financial management. He represented the SEC at the Ministerial Task Force on Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) where he chaired the Corporate Governance Policy Team and the Task Force that initiated the establishment now the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), also at the prestigious Vision 20: 2020 National Strategy (Financial Sector Thematic Area), the Strategic Monitoring Committee on ECOWAS Regional Policy Response to Global Financial Crisis where he headed the Capital Markets Research Team and finally, and not the least, at the Sub-Committee on the Funding of the Nigeria Police Force.
Oluwatobi Oyefeso was educated at the Polytechnic of North London (Now: London Metropolitan University) with a BA Hons Economics and Accounting Degree, Brunel University London with MSc Business Finance Degree, University of Greenwich London with a PGCE Post-Compulsory Education and Training; and the University of Aberdeen Scotland UK with a PhD Finance Degree.
